How to re-create MyBlogLog logo in Adobe Photoshop
I recently wanted to add an icon at the top of this blog to allow people to join my community on MyBlogLog.
MyBlogLog is a social network for the blogger community that is based in part on interactions facilitated by a popular web widget that many members install on their blog.
When I first started off this blog I found MyBlogLog to be a valuable site as it gave me instant connection with my readers. So I thought it be fitting to continue using the service. The problem was I couldn’t find a good copy of the logo to fit into my design, so I decided to create it myself. The logo is very simple as MyBlogLog’s logo is essentially styled text.

Font Properties Information

- Bold
- Anti Alias set to Sharp
- Colour: #2a7385
Font Layer Style Properties
Outer Glow (color is #2a7385)

Background Styling
For the background you can use #61bc0d as the base colour. From there you can add a black gradient to give it some depth and set the layer to overlay. Then you can also add a soft white gradient over the top to give it a shiny look.
There you have it, pretty simple.
